Day 1Arrival in Darjeeling
Welcome to the beautiful hills of North Bengal! Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Darjeeling (approx. 3–4 hrs) via the charming hill town of Mirik. Enjoy the calm Sumendu Lake, surrounded by pine trees, with options for boating and horse riding. En route, visit Pashupati Market (Indo-Nepal border) for some local shopping.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Start early around 4:00 AM to witness the breathtaking sunrise from Tiger Hill, where the golden rays illuminate Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue sightseeing: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, and Peace Pagoda. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the mall road.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3 Excursion to Lamahatta & Tinchuley
After breakfast, drive to Lamahatta, a peaceful eco-tourism village offering serene views of Mt. Kanchenjunga (subject to weather). Visit its landscaped garden, fluttering Buddhist prayer flags, and the forest trail leading to a natural lake. Continue to Tinchuley, a picturesque hamlet known for tea gardens and panoramic mountain views. Return to Darjeeling by evening.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 4 Departure – NJP / Bagdogra
After breakfast, check out and drive back to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (approx. 3 hrs). Depart with sweet memories of the tranquil Darjeeling hills and the charm of Lamahatta.
Trip ends with beautiful memories.
