You will be picked up by our representative cum driver at the airport/railway station and then drive to Shillong. Shillong, the capital of the state of Meghalaya. During your journey, you will stop by Umiam Lake, a stunning lake that is a popular tourist destination and can be found shortly before entering Shillong.

After reaching Shillong check into your hotel. Later that you can go to visit below mentioned attractions:

In the morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and straight head to the Jowai and visit the following destination:

• Tryshi Waterfall
• Bophill Falls

• Phe Phe Fall

Phe Phe Fall: Phe Phe Falls is a two-tier waterfall. Phe Phe is a Janita word that translates to Paradise. The location of the waterfall makes it more thrilling.

In the refreshing morning, have your breakfast and drive with our driver cum representative.

Dawki: It’s a beautiful river and an excellent boating experience with pictures of crystal-clear waters. River Umngot, also known as the Dawki River is the clearest bay in the Asian continent with crystal clear waters. The river water is the cleanest and most beautiful in the month of December.

Mawlynnong: A picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India – Bangladesh border. Declared as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has alternatively been known as ‘God’s own garden’ to go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh View point and the longest Living Root Bridge.

After having breakfast get ready for some adventures places to visit:

Double Decker Living Root Bridge: The double decker living root bridge is one-of-a-kind attraction of Meghalaya. The track to bridge is almost 3km long and 3500+ steps. It takes wholeday, but worth seeing once. Not only is it a naturally built ecosystem of local flora but it also symbolizes the relationship and knowledge that the local people have over their region and the cultural significance that it holds for them. Under ideal conditions, a root bridge is thought to be able to persist for hundreds of years. We have to walk through 3500+ steps one way, cross two iron bridges to reach the double decker bridge by 11.15. It was a great experience. While returning, we took a small detour, saw the single living root bridge as well. One can go to blue lagoon, which is another 40 minutes further.

After that, drive to Guwahati with our representative cum driver. After reaching Guwahati, you can visit below mentioned attractions:

• Balaji Temple
• Fancy Bazaar
• Alfresco River Cruise

Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Early morning drive to visit Maa Kamakhya Temple with our representative cum driver. After that if time permits visit Umananda Temple, Rope way.
