You will be picked by our representative cum driver at Guwahati Airport/ Railway station.

After that drive to Shillong. Shillong, the capital of the state of Meghalaya, during your journey, you will stop by Umiam Lake, a stunning lake that is a popular tourist destination and can be found shortly before entering Shillong.

After reaching Shillong, do the check-in formalities and drive to visit mentioned attractions –

In the morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and straight head to the Jowai and visit the following destination: Tryshi Waterfall, Bophill Falls, Krang Suri Waterfalls, Phe Phe Fall.

Tryshi Waterfall: This Waterfall is very Scenic and is being visited by lesser Tourist comparatively. Fall has two layer and there is option to Sit and relax just before the First Fall.
To reach the Bottom you need to step down a Little, but the View is worth from the bottom. Fall runs for the Entire Year.

Bophill Falls: Bophill Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Jaintia Hills district. There’s a gushing current that cascades down in the most sophisticated way possible. The purity of the rain enhances the view, but the post-monsoon effect is equally impressive. The crisp autumn air will rejuvenate you on a whole new level. 

Krang Suri Waterfall: The Krang Suri Fall is open all year round. Every season has its magic that tourists thoroughly enjoy. The best time to visit Krang Suri, however, is in late summer, as the rainy season will make the route to the waterfall very slippery and risky. The best part of the falls is that swimming is allowed here. Each and every nook and corner of the place can be explored.

Phe Phe Fall: Phe Phe falls (Phea Phea Falls/Phi Phi Falls) is a 2-tier waterfall. Phe Phe falls location is in Skhentalang Village of West Jaintia Hills district. The location of the waterfall makes it more thrilling. Descending a steep hill, through the shrub bamboo plants, the sight of the waterfall in the backdrop of the blue sky and the range of hills layered with light and shadow on the other side.

Dawki: It’s a beautiful river and an excellent boating experience with pictures of crystal-clear waters. River Umngot, also known as the Dawki River is the clearest bay in the Asian continent with crystal clear waters. The river water is the cleanest and most beautiful in the month of December.

Mawlynnong: A picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India – Bangladesh border. Declared as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has alternatively been known as ‘God’s own garden’ to go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh View point and the longest Living Root Bridge.

After having breakfast get ready for some adventures places to visit:

Double Decker Living Root Bridge:  The double decker living root bridge is one-of-a-kind attraction of Meghalaya. The track to bridge is almost 3km long and 3500+ steps. It takes whole day, but worth seeing once. Not only is it a naturally built ecosystem of local flora but it also symbolizes the relationship and knowledge that the local people have over their region and the cultural significance that it holds for them. Under ideal conditions, a root bridge is thought to be able to persist for hundreds of years. We have to walk through 3500+ steps one way, cross two iron bridges to reach the double decker bridge by 11.15. It was a great experience. While returning, we took a small detour, saw the single living root bridge as well. One can go to blue lagoon, which is another 40 minutes further.

Blue Lagoons:  The Blue Lagoon is blue because of the way silica, the lagoon’s iconic and most abundant element, reflects visible light when suspended in water. Visible light is the spectrum of electromagnetic energy that the human eye can perceive.

1. Mawjymbuin Cave– Mawjymbuin Cave is a limestone cave famous for its stalactite stalagmite formation that resembles a Shiva Linga. It has evolved into a popular pilgrimage site. Mawjymbuin, also known as Krem Mawjymbuin, is one of the best places to visit in Mawsynram and one of the most popular destinations. On the first floor, there is a little open viewing area from which you may obtain a breathtaking view of the entrance.

2. Krem Dam Cave– Krem Dam Cave is a beautiful river cave with a hidden entrance. It is the fourth-largest cave in India spanning a length of seven kilometers. Gnarly rock formations and stalagmites make this an amazing place. With an explored length of 30,957 metres, Krem Liat Prah in Jaintia Hills is the longest cave in Meghalaya, as well as India, and is listed among the longest caves in the world.
