Day 1 Arrival in Paro
Upon arriving in Paro, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and guide, who will escort you to your hotel in Thimphu. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities and settle in. Based on your arrival time, you may either head out for a city sightseeing tour or unwind at the hotel. You can also explore the lively weekend market (Thursday to Sunday), where vendors from various parts of the country gather to sell fresh local produce.
Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing
In the morning, visit the Handmade Paper Mill and the School of Arts and Crafts (closed on Sundays and holidays), followed by the Folk Heritage Museum and National Library.
After lunch, drive past the Memorial Chorten and visit the Buddha Viewpoint, Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Preserve Centre, and Zilukha Nunnery. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu – Paro
After breakfast, drive back to Paro and visit the National Museum, showcasing collections from natural history to religious art. Explore the 17th-century Paro Dzong on foot and walk across the oldest wooden bridge still in use. In the evening, stroll through Paro town, visit local handicraft shops, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 4 Paro Sightseeing
In the morning, hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Temple, perched on a cliff 900m above the Paro Valley and associated with Guru Rinpoche, who meditated here in the 8th century. The hike takes around 2 hours uphill for an average trekker, though it can take most of the day. Return to the hotel in the evening and relax. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5 DEPARTURE
Take away the sweet memories of Bhutan. Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
