Day 1 Arrival Paro
Make your way to the international terminal at Ahmedabad Airport for your flight to Paro. Upon arrival (2,280 m), complete immigration formalities and meet our representative.
Proceed for breakfast at a nearby restaurant, then drive to Thimphu with a brief stop at the historic Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax.
In the afternoon, begin a leisurely sightseeing tour, driving past the Memorial Chorten and visiting Tashichho Dzong. Return to the hotel and unwind.
Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, head out to explore Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point), where a massive Buddha statue overlooks the valley, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Continue your visit to the National Memorial Chorten and the Folk Heritage Museum to experience Bhutan’s rich culture and traditions.
In the afternoon, enjoy scenic views from Sangaygang View Point, then visit Changangkha Monastery. Later, stop by the Takin Preserve Centre, where you can see Bhutan’s unique national animal, the Takin. Conclude the day with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, also known as the Fortress of the Glorious Religion.
Return for an overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue, stopping at Dochu-La Pass (3,150 m) for stunning Himalayan views. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong, a historic fortress built in 1637 and once the seat of Bhutan’s government. Later, take a short excursion to Chhimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley.
Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 4 Punakha Full Day
After Breakfast today you will have a full day excursion to Phobjikha valley & enroute Drive Pass Wangdue Dzong & on arrival at Phobjikha Valley visit Gangtey Goempa & Black Necked Crane Conservation Centre lunch and drive back to Punakha.
Day 5 Punakha - Paro
After breakfast, drive to Paro, descending via Dochula Pass and following the scenic Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu river valleys.
On arrival, visit a local farmhouse for an authentic Bhutanese meal and try archery. Later, explore Ta Dzong (National Museum), showcasing thangka paintings, textiles, weapons, and historical artifacts. Walk down to Rinpung Dzong, known as the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” and admire its beautiful Buddhist wall paintings.
After sightseeing, check into your hotel and relax.
Day 6 Paro
After breakfast, drive to Drukgyel Dzong and enjoy stunning views of Mt. Chomolhari. En route, visit the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.
After lunch, pass by Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang, known for its unique chorten shape and beautiful murals. Later, enjoy free time for shopping in Paro town and visit a local brewery for a tasting session. Return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Paro.
Optional: Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (approx. 5 hours, entry fee extra), perched 900m above the Paro Valley.
Day 7 Departure Paro
After an early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for your flight to your onward destination. Our representative will assist you with exit formalities and bid you a fond farewell.
